Town Pizza on York in Highland Park is a hidden gem that truly delivers on taste and quality. They are open at 4pm. You can buy large single slices or a whole pie. It took me several visits before I realized they have a complete restaurant next door. The menu at Town Pizza offers a wide variety of options that cater to all tastes. Whether you're in the mood for classic cheese pizza or craving something more adventurous like their signature BBQ chicken pizza, you won't be disappointed. Each pizza is made with care, using only the freshest ingredients and a perfectly thin and crispy crust that's sure to satisfy. Aside from their amazing pizza, Town Pizza also offers an array of delicious appetizers and salads. The garlic knots are a must-try, as they are soft, buttery, and loaded with flavor. The Caesar salad is also a standout, with its crisp romaine lettuce, homemade dressing, and generous sprinkling of Parmesan cheese. The staff at Town Pizza is knowledgeable about the menu and are always happy to offer recommendations based on your preferences. As far as friendly my last visit there not so much. She just did the minimum of what is required. She took the order and cashed us out. It was a slow night only 4 other tables were in use. She didn't even bring us the pie nor checked on us to see if we were satisfied or needed anything. As for the pie we ordered which I have not had before is their take on a Detroit style. They make in house their own focaccia bread. Which I have had previously. Town Pizza uses their Focaccia bread as the crust for their Detroit Style Pizza. So you end up with an extremely thick crust about an inch. We ordered the Medium. It is enough for 2 people. 3 if you're not hungry. My only complaint is the pizza sauce. It is added on after the pizza. Which is fine. But the sauce doesn't match the temperature of the pizza. Meaning they put a cold or cool temperature sauce on it. I feel the sauce should match temperature of the pie. So, you don't get warm and cold. In terms of pricing, Town Pizza offers great value for the quality of food you receive. The portion sizes are generous, ensuring that you leave satisfied without breaking the bank. Overall, Town Pizza on York in Highland Park is a top-notch pizza place that ticks all the boxes. Delicious pizza, hopefully next time friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere make it the perfect spot for a casual dinner. Give it a try, and you won't be disappointed!

Delicious pizza, great ambiance for catching up with friends, and they even have a vintage photo booth! I'm a sucker for photo booth so you know we had to try it out too. We ordered the garlic rosemary pizza, and there were 3 options for sizes. We shared two 10 inch pizzas between 2 people and it was def worth it. Service was great too, very welcoming employees.

Food: 8/10 Service: 9/10 Ambiance 9/10 Town pizza lived up to the hype! Came here to eat with a group of friends and have since been back twice! My go to here is definitely the Sausage and Caramelized Onion Pizza! Try it, trust me on this. Cannot go wrong with anything else but that pizza makes this drive worth it. Be prepared to wait for the pizza to come out, but the ambiance adds to the experience. Cool place, definitely add on your list to check out!

I love getting pizza by the slice! The guys here are so chill too. They get us in and out of there quick. Mushroom rosemary slices at 4.5$ ish a pop. Perfectly light, crispy savory flavorful Just good. Never been to the restaurant side but i think I prefer the dark standup bar eating situation anyway. Street parking and a paid lot right around the corner from here so easy to get in and out. Plus, it's central to other bars and bites nearby in case you feel like mixing it up at a few places.
